  Me and my mom are new to sycamore. And was excited to try out the laundry place on state street. We accidentally parked the wrong way. But didn't know that. So after putting our blankets in the dryer. We walked over to the lirbrary. When we returned, the front door was locked. So we went through the side. I noticed right away, an older woman who looked in her 70s on her phone. She was complaining about something. I had to go out and get some bags from the trunk. And right when I stepped over to the car the lady approached me with a rude attitude and kept saying "why would you park like that? Thanks to you everyone is goin to have a hard time. What makes you think you could park like that? Why?" I was taken aback by her rudeness. She talked to me in a condescending way, as if I was stupid. I was a paying customer. All she had to do was tell me. "You're parked wrong, can you please park the right way." I would then have told my mom and then there would be no problems. But no. She came out with insults and hurtful words. I apologize again and again but she ignored it. I ask her to stop yelling and she ignored it. I tried to get back inside but she wouldn't let me. I tried to explain I don't know how to drive, so i couldn't fix the car. She ignored it. I'm not exaggerating when I say this older lady would not let me inside. It wasn't until i said please for the 5th time that she let me. At this point, tears were coming from my eyes. The rudness of her scared me. This worker made a customer cry and she DIDN'T once cool down from her insults. Sycamore is a lovely place. It's a shame that people like her, don't know how to approach a situation professionally. So beware of the old lady with short blonde hair.
